Stacy is a Minneapolis-based Multimedia Journalist who has been doing this craft for 15+ years. Her work has been featured in the Star Tribune, LAVENDER, Minnesota Women's Press, Sun Sailor, Stillwater Gazette, Monticello Times and more.
She enjoys writing about the people and businesses that make an impact on their communities as well as writing investigative stories that deep dive into the stories underneath the surface. Her beats include community features and profiles, crime reporting, investigate journalism, hard news and school board and city council coverage.
Currently, Stacy works as a Community Reporter for Aitkin Independent Age and as a IELTS Invigilator at the University of St. Thomas. Aside from her work, she volunteers as an Immigration Court Observer for the Advocates for Human Rights and is pursuing her M.A. in English & Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire.
In her free time, Stacy enjoys going on hikes, watching true crime documentaries, listening to podcasts, assembling jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family, friends and her mini Aussie Shepherd, Sadie.
