5 of the Most Instagrammable Spots in Minnesota
The Breakfast Club
A fun and colorful brunch spot in Uptown, The Breakfast Club offers a unique experience with a live DJ, disco lights in the bathroom and a photo background at the entrance with the restaurant’s name featured in neon lights. The mimosas flights are a great pick for those going with a friend that allow you to pick 4 of your favorite mimosas. Breakfast choices range from crepes to chicken and waffles to benedicts.
This spot is a popular one that is especially busy on the weekends so budget your time for a 10-15 minute wait.

Museum of Illusions
Illusions museums are deemed “edutainment” and are a popular attraction on the rise in major cities across the U.S. for both locals and tourists to enjoy. Mall of America (MOA) now has a Museum of Illusions that plays mind games with its optical tricks. There are over 60 fun exhibits for visitors of all ages. A few of the installations include putting your head on a platter, walking through a rotating funhouse and even a cloning table. I highly recommend visiting with at least one other person since you will need someone to photograph you, but also because a friend makes the experience that much better.

LynLake, centered at the intersection of Lyndale Avenue and Lake Street in South Minneapolis, is known for having large-scale murals created by local residents of the community. The artwork is more than just beautiful art with exciting shapes and vibrant colors, it helps generate relationships between business owners and community members. Each artwork is uniquely its own and completely different from the next. It’s a fun backdrop for those who enjoy taking photos or for those who want to just admire great artwork from local artists.
Each year, LynLake holds an event called LynLake Street Art Series that usually takes place in July or August. The event features over 50 artists that create new murals across the town. More information can be found here.
